Marco Valente, 63, has worked and still occasionally works as a copywriter and creative director in advertising. Currently, he lectures in postgraduate communication courses at IED in Rome and is involved in advancing the workshops and cultural initiatives of Reating, an association he co-founded with his friend Valentina Cinelli, a photographer and art director.

In 1990, a serious motorcycle accident radically changed his life, and monoplegia in the left arm forced him to reconsider many aspects. Recently, another battle has emerged—an oncological issue that, despite slowing down the entire project, is resolving positively.

But the passion for motorcycles has never waned; it remained dormant until it forcefully returned to the forefront. And passions must be pursued because doing so sometimes means realising one’s dreams.
